Students also gain a deeper understanding of management principles, including how to develop a business plan, along with an introduction to project management. These value-added courses help prepare graduates to pursue an MBA and position them for advancement and leadership opportunities.

5. How does the Project Management emphasis prepare students to lead complex projects with both technical skill and moral clarity?

This emphasis helps students build a strong understanding of project management, a critical skill for organizations working to achieve their goals. Through these courses, students learn how to support better decision-making, manage risk and improve client satisfaction, while helping organizations adapt to change and continuously improve.

Project management skills are also essential across industries such as construction, IT, healthcare and marketing, making them a valuable way to stay competitive. The Healthcare Administration emphasis prepares students for the operational realities of medical organizations while developing leaders who are ready to serve in a complex, highly regulated and morally challenging industry with integrity, compassion and purpose.

This emphasis aligns well with careers in hospitals and health systems, long-term care and senior services, faith-based or community health organizations and public health or nonprofit healthcare settings.
