Bridge to Ministry Pathway Application

A Direct Path Toward Your Ministry Calling

The Bridge to Ministry Pathway program is a planned, combined 3+2 undergraduate and graduate pathway for incoming students who want to pursue a career in ministry.

Priority application deadline is August 1st (1 month before the start of the term you are applying for). 

Note: While this is the priority deadline, please submit your application as soon as possible to guarantee early placement in the pathway as spots may be limited.

Pathway Expectations and Requirements

Please review the following Bridge to Ministry pathway expectations and requirements before submitting your application.

  1. Students must be admitted to the University as indicated in the University admission policies section of the Fresno Pacific University catalog.
  2. Participants must indicate a commitment to pursuing pastoral ministry.
  3. Students must participate in selected Faith, Works, and Economics (FWE) co-curricular events (approximately 2- 3 per academic year) 
  4. Participants will attend regularly scheduled meetings with the pathway director/mentor.
  5. Students must be in good standing academically.
    1. Undergraduate Program: Students must maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA and a 3.0 program GPA.
    2. Graduate Program: Students must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA.
  6. Students must take degree courses as directed at the pace and timing recommended by their academic advisor/ Bridge to Ministry (BTM) Pathway Director / mentor, up to 18 units a semester in undergraduate work and between 9-15 units per semester as determined in consultation with the MACM academic advisor. Both undergraduate and graduate pace may include summer classes.
  7. In order to achieve advanced standing in the seminary, all undergraduate program curriculum requirements for the BTM pathway program must be met.

  8. Students must pass the following classes with a B or better to be eligible for Advanced Standing with admission to the 榴莲视频直播 Biblical Seminary:

  9. Students must be admitted to the 榴莲视频直播 Seminary after completion of their bachelor鈥檚 degree (application made in the sixth semester of undergraduate work). All BTM students must meet 榴莲视频直播 Seminary admission expectations included as stated in the University鈥檚 Graduate Catalog under Biblical Seminary 鈥淎dmissions Requirement.鈥
  10. Undergraduate students must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the established deadlines and complete all financial aid related paperwork before the start of the term.
  11. Students taking a leave of absence or withdrawing from 榴莲视频直播, will lose their space in the Bridge to Ministry pathway and may not be eligible for future program enrollment. Re-application to the Bridge to Ministry pathway after a semester away is required.
  12. Other activities or requirements may exist as determined by the Bridge to Ministry pathway program director.
