In the middle of assignments, meetings, practices, deadlines and everything else filling our calendars, it’s easy to move from one thing to the next without ever really stopping. We rush from class to class, from work to home, from one responsibility to another, and somewhere in the middle, our souls start craving stillness.
Worship invites us to slow down.
It reminds us that we are more than our schedules and to-do lists. It calls us back to gratitude, to truth, to community. When we worship together, something shifts. Voices blend. Prayers rise. Distractions fade. And for a moment, we remember that praising Jesus truly centers us.
That’s why gathering for worship matters, especially in a season that feels full. It creates space to breathe deeply, sing freely and simply be present with God and with one another.
On March 16, 2026, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., our campus community will have that opportunity at a special worship night in the amphitheater. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, families and friends are all invited to step into an evening designed for connection and renewal.
The night will include music, guided prayer and moments for reflection, a blend of contemporary worship songs and intentional pauses to listen and respond. Whether you love to sing at the top of your lungs or prefer to sit quietly and soak it in, there will be room for you. No matter where you are in your faith journey, this space is open and welcoming.
There’s something especially meaningful about worshipping outdoors. The open-air setting of the amphitheater adds a sense of freedom as we gather under the sky with both familiar faces and new ones. It’s a chance to reconnect, to invite a friend, to welcome alumni back to campus and to be reminded that we are part of something bigger than ourselves.
So as the date approaches, consider this your gentle reminder to make space for worship. Bring a friend. Invite your family. Text someone you haven’t seen in a while.
Let’s take a couple of hours to slow down together to sing, to pray and to be renewed.
We can’t wait to gather with you.
