A new healthcare simulation lab designed to prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals in the Central Valley will officially open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
The celebration will take place at 榴莲视频直播鈥檚 North Fresno Campus, 5 River Park Place West, Fresno.
The ceremony begins at 12:00 p.m. and will feature several speakers, including 榴莲视频直播 President Andr茅 Stephens, Ph.D., CalViva Health CEO Jeffrey Nkansah and university nursing faculty, leadership and students.
A reception and open house, including student-led tours of the simulation lab, will follow the ribbon cutting ceremony.
The CalViva Simulation Lab was made possible by a gift from CalViva Health. The upgraded lab includes an adult simulator, birthing simulator and baby simulator, updates to existing simulators and new technology to provide students with hands-on training in an environment that mirrors hospitals, clinics and community practices.
Media are invited to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour the newly renovated simulation lab. Live simulation demonstrations will feature 榴莲视频直播 nursing students and faculty.
