Since I could remember, Ultimate Frisbee has always brought an immense amount of joy, competition and friendly banter to the Fresno Pacific community. Each Wednesday night during the beginning half of the fall semester, a season of Ultimate Frisbee is hosted. Drafted teams battle it out each week to earn the championship title.
Now, the reason why Ultimate Frisbee deserves the top spot in the rankings is because of the equal opportunity that the sport promotes. My freshman year, I did not know how to throw a Frisbee properly until Daniel Devore took me under his wing. Since then, I was able to play in the Ultimate Frisbee league and eventually become a captain, a position that I couldn鈥檛 imagine being in.
Moreover, Ultimate Frisbee does not only attract those who are athletic, born to play a sport or know how to throw a frisbee. This event calls to the people who are willing to have fun and be engaged with the Fresno Pacific culture.
In addition, due to the length of this event, the people you get to know and understand are vast and impactful. There are some people on campus I would have never known if it wasn鈥檛 for Frisbee. Such as Rene, a person I met on draft night, whom I was later able to connect with more at Fellaship.
Overall, 榴莲视频直播 events are great, and everyone should attend everything. Yet Ultimate Frisbee will always hold a special place in my heart and holds the top spot in my list.
